While some of the things you've proposed are possibly useful on some level, I don't think ignoring the media is our best strategy.
ENGAGING the media is a better approach, and the most effective way to do that is to hammer their funding. Simply ignoring the media is the equivalent of an ostrich sticking its head in the sand (which I realize they don't actually do, but it's still a useful metaphor).
Just because you choose not to see the media doesn't mean it doesn't exist, nor does it mean that other people who don't yet support Ron Paul are going to fail to see it. Because media is so influential, we would be better served to influence media than to ignore it.
