Christopher Nolan pushes almost an agenda of ideas such as :
A.it is necessary to be evil to fight "terrorism"
B.civil laws are inadequate to retaining crimes and terrorist's
C.batman is a necessary evil..a person who wiretaps, tortures people for information ..and at the end of the day lies yet is regarded as the director as some sort of "necessary force"...though Christopher Nolan sidesteps it by calling Batman "not a hero"..he pretty much infers that Batman is a necessary savior of gotham for his ability to be like the Bush era government....how charming of Christopher Nolan .
D. the joker is an anarchist?oh really...he clearly doesn't care about destroying the government, neither does he care about its size or power. The joker is not an anarchist. Christopher Nolan exchanges "existentialism" and "sadism" for "anarchy". I think this was the clearest propaganda in the film in which I observed. It clearly sets Batman up to be a "necessary force" which is actually tyrannical.
