Presumption Of Innocence ...

... Means the accuser ( government in this instance) bears the burden of proof to establish one guilty according to the law. The accused need not prove innocence. One may debate whether that should be the American standard of justice, but if you believe in the Rule of Law, you are not free to disregard the procedure. That is the Process Due.

The reality is that the new standard, by acquiescence, is ‘ Might Makes Right,’… the Law of Rule.
