9thID "Those who condone Ron Paul's behavior should read Lord Of The Flies...
My reply:
Those who condemn Ron Paul should read the Constitution:
"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use,
without just compensation."
The 5th Amendment protects against abuse of government authority in legal procedure. Its guarantees stems from English common law which traces back to the Magna Carta in 1215, including the phrase "due process."
The 8th Amendment delegates the power to declare war to Congress. In Constitutional terms we are not at war. Our Representatives have violated their oaths of office and led us into undeclared wars.
Only one honest man, Ron Paul, unyielding and steadfast through the past 30 years stood between us, We the People, and the excesses of the ruling class.
For this he is vilified by the corrupt establishment and the lemmings who can't think for themselves. If you give me a choice between the Constitution and The Lord of the Flies, I know what I would choose! (Who currently lord's over the flies in Congress?)
