Ron Paul leading straw polls in number of votes and number of poll wins

There have been 29 GOP straw polls this year. Approximately 41,388 votes took place in those polls. Ron Paul is clearly getting more votes.

1. Paul 9395, 23% of all 41,388 votes
2. Cain 7073, 17%
3. Bachmann 5987, 14%
4. Perry 4289, 10%
5. Romney 3811, 9%
6. Santorum 2818, 7%
7. Pawlenty 2790, 7%
8. Gingrich 1510, 4%
9. Huntsman 622, 2%
10. Palin 452, 1%
11. Johnson 288, 1%
12. Daniels 287, 1%
13. Christie 279, 1%
14. Huckabee 248, 1%
15. Trump 207, 1% (rounded up)

There are others, but all under 100.

Notes:
-It seems that Cain deserves his high status.
-It seems that Romney does NOT deserve his high status.
-Bachmann surprised me with her third place

=====================================================

How about who won the most straw polls? Ron Paul wins again. He won 10 of the 29 straw polls!!!!

Going by Olympic weighting: 3 points for gold (1st place), 2 points for silver (2nd), 1 point for bronze (3rd):

Name 1st / 2nd / 3rd = TOTAL POINTS
1. Paul: 10 / 3 / 0 = 36
2. Cain: 9 / 3 / 2 = 35
3. Romney: 4 / 7 / 6 = 32
4. Bachmann: 1 / 4 / 5 = 16
5. Perry: 0 / 6 / 2 = 14
6. Gingrich: 0 / 3 / 1 = 7
7. Huckabee: 1 / 1 / 1 = 6
8. Santorum: 1 / 0 / 3 = 6
9. Daniels: 1 / 0 / 1 = 4
10. Pawlenty: 0 / 1 / 2 = 4
11. Karger: 1 / 0 / 0 = 3
12. Barbour: 1 / 0 / 0 = 3
13. Palin: 0 / 0 / 3 = 3
14. Huntsman: 0 / 1 / 0 = 2
15. Johnson: 0 / 0 / 1 = 1
16. Trump: 0 / 0 / 1 = 1
17. McCotter: 0 / 0 / 1 = 1

Notes:
-Only seven of these races were big polls (over 1000 voters).
-Paul won 4 big polls and 6 small polls
-Cain won 2 big polls and 7 small polls
-Bachmann won one big poll (then she ate it)
-Romney won 4 small polls...lol
-Romney is the most consisent, placing in the top three 17 times; followed by Cain (14 times), then Paul (13 times)

I like the overall numbers at the top. It shows that, by far, people are voting for Ron Paul.

Feel free to post these numbers wherever you want. I'll try to update as more straw polls come out.
