I'd be happy to be wrong on this. But being an "independent" means nothing in the grand scheme of knowing exactly what it is that ails us. They are all too often simply typical American automatons who refuse to don a jersey until election day.

My reticence comes from reading too many blogs and hearing leftist/progressive arguments in support of OWS. I hope OWS adopts an appeal for free market reform...but I have yet to hear a cogent cry in that direction.

I'll keep my ears open and my fingers crossed but, I find that way too many of us are still locked into the indoctrination we've all received in the United States of Pavlov and OWS is showing signs of pre-conditioned salivation.
