well not to insult your aunt and uncle, but to me that just shows that they have blind ignorance and a lack of understanding in what they claim to believe. Jesus never "punished" sinners, he showed them compassion and encouraged them to change their lives. I completely agree with Dr Paul - government laws can't make you more moral.

I wish I could say this was rare, but I know it's not. A lot of evangelicals have been duped into believing that it's the government's role to enforce morality.
