Did I miss it or has the most important Book ever been passed up

I didn't see the Bible listed.

Hopefully, because it is assumed everyone reads it, but nowadays, eh, not so much, to our hurt.

I would also recommend "How Satan Turned America Against God" by William Grady.

Probably the most important book I read aside from the Bible is a book on etymology. There are many to choose from.

My favorite is "Dictionary of Word Origins" by Joseph T. Shipley Etymology is the study of word origins.

When you learn the meanings of root words and how they developed and the meanings of prefixes and suffixes, you will develop a greater understanding of what it means to say what you mean and mean what you say.
You'll also understand more of what people write who mean exactly what you say. For example, this book has helped me understand the Bible (King James Bible, of course) better than any preacher, teacher, commentary or Bible Dictionary ever has!

Freedom is the ability to do what you want to do.
Liberty is the ability to do what you ought to do.
