Did Gingrich ever draw a crowd of 1000?

If not, what difference does it make? The topic reports Gingrich cancelled an event for lack of attendance, and it reports Ron Paul drew a crowd of 1000 in the same town and college. If Gingrich had drawn a crowd of 1000 at the same college, at any time, then it would not be fair contrast. My understanding is he doesn't draw any crowds ever.
