Atlas Shrugged showed me that religion and its statist/authoritarian variants didn't have a monopoly on morality.
I still recommend it, but I've realized that it doesn't go NEARLY far enough. Read Larken Rose's The Most Dangerous Superstition and you'll likely discover that you've only been half awake. It's not enough to love liberty; you need to understand that the myth a of righteous government is liberty's mortal enemy. And the myth is unbelievably pervasive, even here on the DP.
