active duty vs. guard/reserve
I know some Iraq/Afghanistan veterans. The National Guard soldiers tell me that they would work peacefully with the locals and make progress. Then the professional soldiers would come in and shoot everything up and cause problems. That is when the IEDs and the insurgent activity would begin. Nothing in this video surprises me...and that is sad.
