Interference with a candidate's message and/or campaign

Is called 'ratf*cking. It's been used since the 60s in the Kennedy/Nixon general election.

"Establishment" candidates always get the benefit of this tool when facing "outsider" candidates.

Mic malfunctions, camera malfunctions, campaign stop confusions, weird unexplainable occurrences, hecklers, bad press, misinformation, disinformation, ugly rumors, etc.

The Dems do some of it too, but not nearly at the level of the GOP.
