Currently, in one-on-one with Obama, Ron is polling two points ahead, Mitt tied, and the other two remaining dwarves far behind.

In the post-nomination campaign the spotlight will be on whomever is nominated. Mitt can be expected to fall behind as the Obama machine exposes his history and smears him with it. Ron, on the other hand, should benefit enormously from the exposure of his name, platform, and consistent voting history.

So Mitt would lose and Ron almost surely win. This means Ron is the GOP's only hope to take the Oval Office.
