The government has to enact a careful budgetary-policy. The policy of recent years strengthened economic volatility. An anti-cyclic budgetary policy, where in good years a surplus is created, prevents immediate cuts to spending in down-years. The basic assumption is that we structurally DON'T spend more money than we receive.
Guess where I got that from..? That's right: straight from the Dutch SOCIALIST Party (SP) running to the FAR RIGHT of your average Republican for some inexplicable reason. Next time they call Ron crazy, tell 'em that.
