Comment: My story...

My story is that as a history buff, and revolutionary war fanatic, I always admired the founding fathers and their Libertarian views without ever hearing the term "Libertarian". Then, in 2008 as a registered independent I took one of those political positions quiz and it shot out Libertarian. I looked into the party some more and liked what I saw. Bob Barr came to my college campus and I was more than a little disappointed with him, but still loved the party platform.

Election day was tough for me, because I wasnt in love with Barr, and the two other knuckleheads seemed so similiar, except for the fact that one had made a selfish, purely political move in picking an Alaskan Governor as his running mate which soured me quickly to the "conservative" ticket. So, it was between Obama and Barr for me, and my vote was essentialy a vote against Palin. Its sad, but this time around I will NOT COMPROMISE my morals and integrity.
