Voters generally hope the blame for their troubles lies far away

If only the really bad guys lose this election, my world will be a better place. On election day, blame lies with those being voted out. Alas, after the election, I will be comforted to feel the worst is over. 'Happy days are here again.' [Pick up broom. Continue sweeping up political party mess from the wild night before.]
