Sure, you are free to lobby dictionary authorities, but you have no say among people who like individual liberty. Semite and anti-Semite HISTORICALLY have different meaning. Therefore, unless you are a fresh Pakistani student, normal Americans understand difference without going to meaning of its components.

For example, anti-Nazi does not mean being against a socialist worker party who has national aspirations.
