I definitely like the idea. The problem is that you actually have to get all of these people to register republican. I've tried to convert a few of "these types," but the idea of registering as a republican is so revolting to them, that that emotion almost supersedes all else.

In my experience, converting people who are already registered as republicans bears much more fruit. The best place to do this would be gun shows and gun stores. Its pretty simple, go in there with Romney's horrendous record on guns and compare it to Dr. Paul's squeaky clean record. Another piece of ammo is romney's D- rating by GOA compared to Paul's A+. You can also play the draft dodger vs AF veteran angle to the gun types.

Better yet, go after both the weed shops and gun stores.
