To protect the free exchange of ideas on the internet. If the banksters and government get a hold of it, it will become just as polluted as TV. Contact your congressman and help to stop the new Internet privacy bill called CISPA. There is a thread here on the DP listing the names of the 100+ congressmen that have co-sponsored this terrible legislation. Many claim this is worse then SOPA/PIPA. Let them know you will not stand for censorship of the internet or government data mining.
