I met a sniper in the bar about....
6 months ago and all he talked about was killing. He would try and describe it to me and I would tell him im not interested in details. I am sure he has cracked by now because it was obvious he was not right in his head. My ol man was in Viet Nam and he has NEVER talked about it. He was literally spit on when he came back. He dropped out of school at 16 yrs old and volunteered then to come back and be spit in. I cant even imagine what he saw that he wont talk about when I know another guy who talks about pucking up body parts of friends. All he ever says is we had no business being over there. He was never medicated but his brothers and sisters tell me it changed him . He had half of his stomach removed because of a bleeding ulcer while he was there. He said that ulcer was from how much he worried. He has been a great dad, i got everything i wanted growing up. I think maybe some of these soldiers now just have to find a way to deal with it without meds. Meds make things worse.
