The Louisiana GOP, republican party, has released a PDF document series which enumerates and lists the "Delegate Slates" that caucus voters will be given to select from.
One then votes for a "Slate" of delegates. In our case, Louisianians that support Ron Paul would vote for the "Slate" that contains delegate names who are known to support Ron Paul.
The page that links to the different "Slate offerings", shown by Congressional District ... is here:
So we see a sample "ballot" and then we can peruse the slates that are offered to caucus goers at over 30 different locations throughout the state.
At each of these 30 locations, caucus goers will vote a "Slate". All of the delegates on that "Slate" that receives the caucus goers vote will then in effect have a vote for their delegate aspirations.
So in Louisiana we do not vote for individuals to be delegates. There are no speeches, no presentations. There is only the caucus goer who physically goes to one of these 30, private, GOP sponsored and maintained locations and that caucus goer then applies their "vote" ... to a slate of delegate names.
