Make sure that any material you send out that has not been provided by the official campaign has a statement on it that says this was prepared by supporters/grassroots and has not been approved. Respect the campaign.

It might be effective to say why you like him, and to list your town/area so that voters know you're local. Make it personal, and that way it won't conflict with the campaign's strategy.

Too often, people have used materials that say too much and turn prospects off. Remember, many are simply looking for a reason to say "no."
