that's what I think...like in 1920's Germany. Don't know how long or bad the deflation will be though.
It's an important discussion because it lies at the heart of how we should be protecting our assets. If we all go to gold and silver, we're screwed in a deflationary environment. If hyperinflation, our cash and treasuries becomes worthless. In the meantime...Bernanke is printing money and the can is kicked down the road till another day. Will that day be tomorrow...next month...this year, etc.? Who knows.
