Comment: The state doesn't have to

The state doesn't have to

The state doesn't have to have jurisdiction for the chairman to be bound to follow the rules of the RNC. If he fails to follow the rules, the issue would be dealt with by leadership at the convention as it would be a meeting of a private organization. Argue what you want, but Massachusetts law has no jurisdiction in Florida.

You assertion that Paul will tell his stealth delegates to vote for Romney is not plausable. We want our people in for one reason: To elect Paul for the GOP nomination. Why would Paul care about ticking off a bunch of GOP cronies? Paul is not seeking any office besides the Presidency. He is not seeking re-election in Texas as a Congressman. He is retiring from politics if this doesn't work out. He may still speak and motivate the base and spread his message but I doubt he'll be looking out for the toes of the establishment.

It really is sad that you have drank the kool-aid of the establishment. You can support Romney all you want, but that support only carries you to November. You can look at the last 40 years of elections and you will see that moderates simply don't defeat incumbents, only idealists do. No matter what happens after November, I will still have a message to repeat, I will still be trying to awaken others. I think you will stick your head back in the sand for another 2 or 4 years and then latch on to whatever candidate the media tells you to support. Enjoy the kool-aid.
