Fluoride in tea NOT natural

Yes - fluoride is in tea, but it is not "natural". It also depends on the tea and where it is from. It is not the "natural" ingradient which people often think it is. It is taken in from airborne polution and uptake from fertilizers. Indian tea seems to have a lot. Chinese tea usually less. Calcium fluoride is the "natural" fluoride they talk about. It is ONLY in this natural form that fluoride can be excreted by the body. Natural fluoride in the body then is less toxic than other forms of fluoride compounds which will force the body to exchange calcium (from bones, teeth and organs)in order to excrete the toxin. Drinking tea black may be worse as calcium from milk in the tea may help the body find the calcium it needs to deal with the fluoride.

So - yes - people with sensitivity to fluoride would do well to avoid some teas from some areas of the world. And anything else that uses artificial fertilizers for that matter!
