Comment: The VA 6th BLAZES THE WAY, FOLKS WITH 3 FOR RP!

Last Saturday, with a coalition of RP supporters (the majority) and Teaparty people, our convention elected three RP delegates to go to Tampa. The three alternates are 1 RP person and 2 Teaparty people (also RP supporters). The RP slate won everything! We are now represented in the VA central committee and have control of the 6th District. Goodbye country club repubs.

Earlier, in the March presidential primary, Ron Paul took Warren County (my county) with a 59% to 41% majority. Warren Co. had just been redistricted from the VA 10th (liberal areas west of DC) into the 6th District (more sanity there).

Unfortunately, our delegates are "bound" on the first round to Mittens, but with some of the convention rules being talked about, that may not do him any good.

Anyway, I'm praying that we are only the first of the VA districts to bring home the bacon for our candidate!
