Commercial/Contract/Statutory Law vs Common Law

It seems to me the reason why all the crimes committed "in high office" or by the directors of large Corporations are immune from prosecution is because it's been almost a century since the western world has operated under common law which is the the law referenced in our original constitution. JPM, Goldman Sachs, etc all have corp. charters that inculde specific provisions which state: If any director, officer, or covered employee of this corporation is accused or found guilty of criminal activites or fraud, they shall be immune from prosecution in any way. For more information check out this DP post I created.
