To be truthful, I don't understand why the campaign came out with this statement. Even if they would not have enough money going forward, why not still focus on the remaining caucus states or at least Texas and California (and keep quiet to the media about their plan)? This letter will only hamper the efforts of some who feel the campaign has run its course, especially people who were only beginning to perhaps lean Paul's way will now see no point but to support Romney.
