Some years ago the Australian Prime Minister gave a speech apologising to the Aboriginals for stealing their children (the 'Stolen Generation') which went down very well with the Aboriginal attendees. The Opposition Leader followed up with good intentions but trying to justify the actions - not so well received as evidenced by the entire crowd silently turning their back to him. Devastating!!
