God is "all-good", and "all-knowing". He created man in His image, and placed him in the garden of Eden. Man had the choice to obey or disobey his Creator. God did not make man a robot. Man chose to disobey after being tempted by Satan. However, God made a provision for believers to return to Him, even though it cost the life of His only begotten Son. This is a demonstration of His goodness. And, yes, God knew that man would sin.
It is thought by many scholars that the fallen angels who rebelled (along with Lucifer or Satan) intermarried with human women and their offspring were giants. These fallen angels "left their first estate" and chose to rebel against God. God destroyed the giants because they were evil. However, it says that some were on the earth "after that". He saved a remnant, Noah, and others in the ark, because He deemed Noah worthy. Scripture says that Noah was "pure in all his generations." Some think this refers to his bloodline. One thing we know is that Noah chose to be obedient and God spared him. You will hear Dr. Paul speak of the "Creator". Of course it is your choice whether you accept or reject the information, but I hope it helps.
