Mormon here

We do often use the title Bishop after a man has been released as a Bishop. Once a Bishop always a Bishop, referring to the title only. Stake President is a higher calling and I do sometimes hear people in church call former stake presidents "president so and so", but not as often as Bishop. Excellent job on the letter. I enjoyed reading it. You don't know how frustrating it is to be an active member of the LDS church and wonder where Mitt Romney gets his political views from, and just his lack of knowledge of the Constitution. Also, very frustrating when discussing his views with fellow Mormons who think "he is just wonderful". I have written several letters to Mitt begging him to read "The Proper Role of Government", written by Ezra Taft Benson who is a former President of our church. You would think you were reading Dr. Paul.
