The Perfect Storm

You have to love people who are so insidiously ignorant that they think we, the People, don't understand. By insuring the safety of these institutions and their rampant recklessness, the pundits who lead the way will assure their own destruction as well.

The derivative bubble is estimated to be as much as $700 TRILLION. It would only take 1/10th of this amount to cause a global meltdown. How did we ever let these financial oligarchs get away with this? It all starts with Alan Greenspan and the Fed who allowed these instruments to proliferate within the financial system.

Now the risk stands on shoulders of the American people? It's sad and pathetic.
