I'm pro self-defense.

Whoever threatens my life or liberty is my blood enemy. I'm not a pacifist; I believe that fighting back against such aggressors is perfectly moral. It is not always good strategy, however, particularly when the aggressors call themselves "your government," and are much better armed than you are. Peaceful r3VOLution is much to be preferred.

When I talk about what draft-advocates deserve, I'm speaking about morality, not about the best strategy or tactics for promoting a free society. Slavery is an unmitigated moral evil, even -- or especially -- when it is imposed by law. But blowing holes in stupid or evil people who advocate slavery is not the best way to correct their stupidity or their evil. Violence breeds chaos, which causes people to seek the security of a strong government -- which results in less freedom, not more. Moral education is the answer. The book in my tagline is the best wake-up tool I've found, for that purpose.
