Thanks for posting the link to this video. As I was reading the story of what happened, I'm thinking to myself of this exact video. Everybody needs to watch it. It's very interesting that the detective basically agrees that nobody should ever talk to the police!

Whoops! I just clicked on the link and found that it is only the first half of the lecture. The second half is a police detective giving his point of view.
