I am glad to hear from Ron Paul.
I am new here, though I have been reading posts for a while. Lately, I had been wondering what Ron Paul had to say about the campaign and it is encouraging to read his e-mail.
I read through some of the comments and I noticed people saying that Ron Paul mentioned over 500 delegates, some even have said 700 to 1000. I am not sure where those numbers are coming from.
From what I read in his e-mail, Ron Paul is saying he has almost 200 bound delegates and in addition there are some delegates who support him, but are bound to Romney. Which means there are roughly 500 people who support him who will be at the RNC convention.
I don't see that he is saying to add the 200 and the 500 together, or that there is a huge number over 500, but there are 500 (or so) total delegates who support him going to the convention.
I think, based on the number reported by Ron Paul supporters, that number is probably a pretty accurate number. I think if people believe the number is way over 500 they are going to be disappointed.
That is my take on what he said.
