Comment: Thoughts on the Future.
Thoughts on the Future.
My thoughts are that there is a definitive chance for an "empire" of a website to come into play, should someone take the reigns and pour their effort into it.
You just said it yourself, the movement has grown to be very large and also encompasses more than just sole supporters of Dr. Paul. So, a website named the DailyPaul isnt exactly the best fit for it.
My idea is this: If someone wanted to, you would take a website named something like freedomweb.com, or similiar. You give it a proper forum and news feed. Most importantly, you turn it into a news site where people can come get unbiased news. This is the key thing.
Right when the MSM is starting to lose viewers in droves, this is THE time to capitalize on this. The news would be anything to do with freedom candidates, issues related to things like corruption, etc, all agregated in one place. The dailypaul already serves a close purpose like this, but isnt well suited to stuff not Ron Paul(such as Gary Johnson).
In addition to the news, candidate profiles could be added. I would find this one of THE most interesting aspects. It would sort of be a condensed biography of not only freedom candidates, but of the establishment.
Anyway, should enough work be put in, I am absolutely sure this is a good opportunity to take advantage of. There would be alot of details to work out, but its definitly doable.(I would also see a store and donation links for varius candidates in there, but mostly for website sustaining unless you want to get actual reporters)
