There was actually a call for doing the delegates one by one, and about 50% were for it, and 50% against. Then they called it by eye vote of those standing as against, which was impossible, and when a roll call was called - much less than 50% supported counting their own votes, even though they had just voted for it. It was railroaded through.

At least that is what I saw. I'd like to see someone else post on it. My take - there is more than 50% of delegates willing to actual have the convention be a real convention, even if they aren't Ron Paul supporters - but they weren't trained for it.

If we reached out to non-Liberty movement people at these conventions who also don't like being led, we could have made it a real one.
