I heard that this actually failed...

I heard that this motion actually failed to go through at the convention and that this attempt actually did not work and that rule 38 actually does not apply?

I also heard from sources that we actually do not have plurality in enough states yet. Even if delegates can vote as they please at the National Convention the delegates will still be viewed as bound to Romney in terms of plurality. This because Plurality is the majority of delegates bound to a candidate in the first round. And since plurality comes before the convention and not at the convention rule 38 or abstaining does not come to our favor until we hit true plurality. From what I gather we have Maine and Minnesota officially for plurality. That is it. States like Nevada, Massachusetts, and even if we won Texas in number of delegates would still go to Romney in plurality. Also heard from a local Ron Paul office that we do not have plurality in Colorado as some claim because Santorum is not going to release his delegates. Iowa is not until the end of the month and in Louisiana who knows what slate will actually be recognized.

So we have 2 officially from what they told me. If we get Louisiana recognized and win Iowa we would still need 1 more to be on the ballot. Maybe Virginia but I don't know.
