...was to wake all of us up. That includes waking us up to the actions of the fed and how it affects all of us.
But until the housing bubble crashed... and a lot of people woke up... all his talk about the Fed was for naught. I don't mean any of this as a bash on Ron Paul. He did what was right and stood by his principles for over 30 years. But, for most of that 30 years, it meant nothing in the big scheme of things. It's not an indictment on him... he's exactly what this country needed in a leader to wake people up. Now that we're awake we need people who will not only vote according to certain principles... but who also know how to play the game.
Remember, Ron Paul has endorsed Newt Gingrich in races before. All an endorsement does is say that you like one guy better than his opponent. No reason to get all up in arms.
