That was a point I left out of my original list, but was aware of, now buried in this thread.
It's the easiest thing in the world to mess up good cases too. Do not go to bad lawyers first, because they may ruin a case in such a way that you don't get another chance. It's real advice that I've gotten from real lawyers, and its true.
