You’re absolutely right and

You’re absolutely right and this is why I wanted to show people that video so they see first hand what intervention leads to. Instead of negotiating in good faith to find a solution you now have 2 parties jockeying for global political capital and positioning. US and UN intervention in my home country Haiti led to the same issues and ultimately destabilized the whole country. Look at it now with all those good intentions and multiple violent interventions the country is in worse shape than sadly when it was under dictatorship so many generations ago. Intervention doses not lead to a vibrant democracy as many naive people in the West suggest. It only delays the inevitable and stunts individuals ability to grow from hardship. No one can change you, only you can truly change yourself but society has to allow for that change to happen. The thing is there are so many people that have their own personal interest in mind in terms of the end results of that change that we see these countries go down in a death spiral of competing global interest e.g. Greece.

“Failure is in a sense the highway to success, as each discovery of what is false leads us to seek earnestly after what is true. (John Keats, 1795-1821 British Poet)” but only if ALLOWED to fail will we ever find the courage to seek out the TRUTH.
