My first censored post...
I discovered this morning that my post "DP has divided into two factions.." 403's. Here's the link:
http://www.dailypaul.com/240629/rand-paul-confronted-on-mitt...
This post was evoked by the rampant downvoting of any post that raised questions/concerns about the campaign/candidate on the Ron Paul video message thread. I observed that DP had apparently divided into two factions, the "worshipful deniers" and the "clear-eyed realists." This was not a personal attack against any poster (I posted it to someone also critical of the campaign), it was not part of a "flame war," which I take to be a sustained exchange of personal attacks, it was merely an observation about current forum dynamics. I saw imminently reasonable posts on the Ron Paul message thread downvoted a net -20 or more merely because they raised reasonable questions/concerns about the candidate/campaign. Are we not permitted to comment on this forum phenomenon? As I value reading posts by "clear-eyed realists," it is a concern to me, because the rampant downvoting of their posts makes it easier to miss them (since it collapses them into a faint font-shrunk title-only placemarker).
Please advise.
