His main issue is cutting red
His main issue is cutting red tape. From what he was saying, many small business owners are getting hurt by regulations especially overly intrusive environmental regulation.
For those who don't live in the uber liberal parts of California, our current politicians will go to any extreme in the name of environmentalism.
El Camino Real is being shut down from a three lane road to a 2 lane road and a bus lane for sustainability. If you were in the area, you would realize how many people drive on this road.
