Comment: Control's location in volunteerism
Control's location in volunteerism
Well, if ending prohibition deconstructs the system and replaces that system with nothing, ending prohibition is good. But if ending prohibition reconfigures the market, a retainment of the system, prohibition ending is nothing more than two the words "prohibition" and "ending," an illusion, a disconnect between words and what they correspond to, the mental realm and physical realm which comprise reality. The individual still wouldn't be able to do for himself. So, be sure where language is used that it describes what it's meant to describe or else risk being duped, fooled.
What I always ask myself is: Where is control and is it operating in volunteerism?
If I can determine the individual can do for himself alone and, if he chooses, can do for himself in voluntary interaction with someone, I conclude he's free.
School's fine. Just don't let it get in the way of thinking. -Me
