Comment: Some of the conspiracy theories are true
Some of the conspiracy theories are true
Unfortunately how one responds to such conspiracies is very important - if you get vehement in your protestations that the conspiracies are true then it makes you look like a nutcase - it's like the stories about a sane person placed by accident or by conspiracy into an insane asylum - the louder the innocent victim proclaims his or her sanity the more crazy he or she looks - in the end the victim has to find more subtle ways of proving his or her sanity.
If the prejudices and concerns of the Ron Paul doubters are to be overcome, some of the aggressiveness and stridency in the movement has to be moderated - work quietly to prove the conspiracies when possible and when there is proof, real proof that can be verified in a court, then go for it - otherwise I think that it is better to grin and bear the obstacles in a dignified, calm manner.
Ron Paul is trying to tell everyone something with his comments about the need for dignity - don't surrender your principles but learn to be the dignified party because in cases where you are the victim this is the most likely way that others will see and understand that you are the victim. Screaming outrage may feel good but it doesn't accomplish much in most cases.
