Comment: A phone app to measure public interest
A phone app to measure public interest
That's an interesting idea tamckissick. It is probably true that the methods to measure the public interest has changed and shifted over the last 250 years.
Whereas the old method of getting people to physically show up and cast votes worked well, if done today the voting block mostly consists of those retired, not too busy working or without other commitments.
Today you might get a better approximation of public opinion by using the ever expanding network of cell phones, and allow participation whenever convenient to the user.
Authentication would be key. Is this the idea you were suggesting?
Does anyone know if there has been any website service that does something like this?
