When asked if Ron Paul would
When asked if Ron Paul would have a 5 state majority, Doug Wead responded by citing Rule 40.
Gop Rule 40: A 5 State Plurality, Not A Majority

“Each candidate for nomination for President of the United States and Vice President of the United States shall demonstrate the support of a plurality of the delegates from each five (5) or more states, severally, prior to the presentation of the name of that candidate for nomination” - Republican Party Rule 40, Section B
What is a, "plurality," of delegates?
Plurality - a candidate wins more delegates than any other candidate, but less than a majority (50% + 1 vote).
I think Ron Paul is already eligible to win the republican nomination according to Republican Party Rule 40, Section B.
Never be afraid to ask simple questions.
