Comment: The real problem with Gary

IMO, the real problem with Gary is that he doesn't (yet) have the ability to electrify and drive passion about the message with the people. Nobody is going to run out and get a GJ tattoo, dive into Austrian texts, waste a Saturday at a Republican caucus, stand in a rainstorm for hours just to hear him speak, etc.

Many of us knew that our investment in Paul would pay back in getting the message out and educating people even if the campaign for this one office didn't pan out.

There's not much cost/benefit to rallying behind Gary to just be a footnote in an otherwise tragic election.

Our resources would probably be better spent trying to win down-ballot offices like congressional seats.

And, three cheers for the anti-war message. It's the right thing, Gary!
