On a similar note, I found the timing of the movie "Pearl Harbor" back in 2001 to be interesting. When you watch that film, the credits show extensive cooperation of the US military. Whether coincidental or not, it helped to refuel the sense of patriotism and nationalism a few months prior to 9/11.
