just saw some sh-t documentary

where some guys pretentiously dress up in wigs like one of those HBO drama playback things. they wore wigs to replay the 'founding fathers'. some 'expert' then came on and suggested the primary function of why people wanted to come up with militia was to protect themselves from slaves, to keep them in line. then after that, with somewhat of a pause, less enthusiastically he mentioned the 'other' function-- to protect themselves from the king of england

i guess this program coming on has something to do with the fourth of july

while i type and i think of this, i just sigh, shake my head and laugh
